We have no greater asset than our children and no greater responsibility than to educate them well. We must guarantee parents are in charge of their children’s education and the maximum amount of dollars get to the classroom.
Strengthening Families
I am pro-life and pro-family. I firmly believe we must defend the unborn and protect traditional marriage. I have worked tirelessly to do both and am proud of my 100% pro-life voting record.
Defending the 2nd Amendment
I am a strong supporter of the right to keep and bear arms. This right must be protected to ensure our society remains free.
Lowering Taxes
Kansas must become competitive. We can only do so by continuing to reform our tax law to a fairer, flatter tax system. I’ve fought to lower food sales taxes, ensure transparency in property taxation, and voted to return the federal tax cut windfall back to Kansas taxpayers.
Strengthening Businesses and the Economy
The State of Kansas is at a crossroads. We can choose to set business-friendly policies that encourage business owners to bring their companies to our state, or we can implement draconian restrictions and multi-level bureaucratic nightmares that drive existing businesses to neighboring states. Government is not the solution for growing businesses or creating jobs. Limiting government’s negative effect on business is the best way to achieve these goals.
Protecting Healthcare
Obamacare continues to be a problem and Kansas liberals have teamed up with radical DC leftists in an attempt to pass a radical, expensive expansion of the Medicaid system. I’ve led the charge to stop this outrageous government expansion.
Building our Infrastructure
The Bank of KDOT is a running joke in Topeka. A strong economy relies on strong infrastructure and the state absolutely must stop robbing transportation funds to pay for political pet projects.
Limiting Government
Unchecked government expansion limits our freedom as individuals and hinders the growth of the businesses our state’s economy relies on to thrive. Kansans from all walks of life are impacted in very real ways and I am dedicated to standing up for people just like you. During my time in office, I have worked to limit bureaucratic intervention in our day-to-day lives and make government more efficient.
